Aroha4Kidz Home-Based Childcare provides safe, nurturing, stimulating childcare and education in the homes of educators who are passionate about working with young children.
Low Adult / Child Ratios
- Research suggests “Building secure attachments is crucial to children’s learning and development in their early learning years”.
- At Aroha4Kidz, our educators maintain low child:adult ratios. The educators are caring for a maximum of four children under the age of six years, and two children under the age of two (including their own children).
- As educators have a small group of children at home, they are able to build secure, trusting relationships and nurture the individual needs of each child, and work alongside parents/ whānau.
Safely Out and About in the Community
- Additional features of our service include-visits to the library, parks, playgroups and other community spaces.
- Offering children the opportunity to socialise, play and engage with larger groups of children,
Flexibility with Choice of Hours
- Aroha4Kidz Home-Based Childcare provides more flexibility for parents in their choice of childcare.
- We are a licensed from 7am to 10 pm, Monday to Sunday, operating Auckland wide. A child’s hours of care as well as the fees for childcare can be negotiated directly with the educator.
Health and Safety
- Aroha4Kidz Home-Based Childcare Team are privileged to be a part of a child’s precious early years of learning and development, and supporting their learning journey.
- Our educators are supported by experienced and registered early childhood teachers.
- Each educator’s home is safety checked to meet the Ministry of Education safety criteria.
- All the educators and anyone living in their home over the age of 17 are police vetted to ensure safety of the children in home-based care.
